Default buy low, sell high - starting out?

OK, so i've heard (from quite a few people) that buying items cheap and reselling for a high price is one of the best ways to make money.. on another forum i go to, some guy said he could make up to 15mil in a week just by buying and reselling.

right now, i have a decent amount of money (~360k) in storage and am saving up for the rest of my ranger's fissure.. only got the boots so far xD

my question is... what's the best way to start out? start out with greens (ex. victo's axe, kanaxai's axe, etc.), then move on to the big stuff?

thank you..
